This NRA RIFLE INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION WORKSHOP is the complete series of courses and training necessary to become certified as an NRA Rifle Instructor. This workshop is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, April 14-16, 2023, at the Fish and Game Indoor Shooting Range in Fairbanks, Alaska. Attendance and participation in all course dates and times is required. This workshop teaches the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching NRA’s Basic Rifle Shooting course.

This workshop includes:
Workshop Fee: $250.00 (does not include NRA credentialing fee for NRA Rifle Instructor.)

About the Workshop:
Much of this workshop will be conducted in a comfortable classroom or indoor live-fire range setting, with a relatively small group of instructor candidates, working together through the NRA curriculum. The Instructor level training is performance based and requires the candidate already possess basic knowledge and skills related to firearms safety and shooting. An Instructor candidate must adequately demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude in order to pass. Paying and attending is not a guarantee of passing this course.
The workshop includes classroom lecture and practicals, and live-fire exercises. Instructor Candidates participating will need to demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course and complete an instructor certification exam. Candidates will receive the NRA Trainer's Guide, NRA Rifle Shooting Instructor Candidate Packet and NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course Student Packet. Candidates successfully completing this course will receive certification from the NRA upon completing the course and processing their credentialing (fee, separate from the workshop fee applies) with the NRA.
